Jack Eliott

Untitled (2013)

With tendon twitches she moves the vast plates of the earth.
Pupils dilate and make the sun flare, lighting the bare blood,
rich inside, feeding the eye.

Mutated, the city is hers
in thin, the layer her eyes within.

She brings the cloud layer down to enshroud the ground,
and the urbanity is clothed in ghost.
With the pupil movements of her rapid shallow dreams
geometric tunnels of pure clarity are born through the dense opaque,
linking the vision of peoples to their desire.
