Initial Letters, Revolved explores the influence of alphabetical order on the way we organize and perceive the world. The animation is made from scans of all the initial chapter letters from a historical dictionary (e.g. “A,” “B,” “C” etc.), rotated around a central axis. Their starting angle is based on their page number from the dictionary.
